Guided tours

Until further notice, the Bürgerverein Hansaviertel e.V. only offers individually arranged tours through the Hansaviertel of the Interbau.
Please send us your request by e-mail to: touren[at]hansaviertel.berlin

It is important for us to know the size of your group, your motivation or whether a special focus is desired, and of course your preferred date(s).

The tours of the Bürgerverein Hansaviertel e.V. begin with an introduction to the origins of the Wilhelminian Hansa Quarter and its destruction during the war. With this information we then start our walk. We will pass key buildings by renowned architects and explain the concept of the Interbau as well as the demand for modern living at that time. The walk lasts about 1.5 hours, shorter or longer tours are available on request.

As a citizens’ association, we respect the residents’ wish for privacy and do not offer tours of flats. Photos and, not least, short videos are available on this homepage for a look behind the façade.

The cost of the tours depends on the size of your group:
Small groups up to 4 persons: 40,00 EUR
Groups of 5 or more: 10.00 EUR per person
Children and teenagers up to 16 years are free of charge.
Groups: School classes from 6th grade/trainees/students: Flat rate 40.00 EUR per guided tour

The money raised will be donated to the association.

In 1957, the guests of the Interbau were chauffeured around in a little train… we will go for a walk. Landesarchiv Baden-Württemberg, Foto: Willy Pragher
